NCHEMS is partnering with the Mississippi Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL) to complete a comprehensive review of its postsecondary funding model. This project aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the current model, which includes components such as base operations funding, allocations for municipal services, mission funding, and performance-based priorities. NCHEMS will provide actionable insights and recommendations to the IHL Board of Trustees for an updated, effective funding model that aligns with Board priorities and institutional goals.
