Dan joined NCHEMS as their accountant in 2024. In this role, he supports the financial health of the organization by analyzing financial data and ensuring accurate reporting. Prior to joining NCHEMS, Dan had a long career with Wells Fargo working in business and commercial banking, management and corporate training. He developed an interest in nonprofit accounting during time spent volunteering as a treasurer for a local organization in Boulder.
Dan holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus in finance and accounting from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Dan has two small kids, so outside of work he can almost always be found having tea parties with stuffed animals, reading stories or playing outside. He enjoys hiking with his Golden Doodle. Dan is also an avid reader and loves watching football and basketball.
I believe in the power of higher education and the importance of continually improving educational policy. Most of my family are teachers or school administrators, so I have been able to see the positive impact that education has on a community firsthand. I feel privileged to support the important role that NCHEMS serves.
