Sharyl McGrew, M.S., is the Deputy Director of The Quality Assurance Commons, a project that is transforming higher and postsecondary education to ensure that students graduate well prepared for employability in the 21st century.
Prior to joining this project, Sharyl worked as an independent project manager and grant writer for numerous K-12, higher education, and social service clients, raising over $40 million for her clients. From 2008-15, Sharyl served as the Director of Substantive Change at the WASC Senior College & University Commission (WSCUC), where she oversaw complex regulatory and policy issues related to quality assurance, design and delivery of new programs and/or partnerships, and institutional mergers.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a Master of Science in Community and Regional Development from the University of California, Davis.
